In the beginning.....GUNALT WINTER WILL O’ THE WISP (right in Photo) – A born ‘pack leader’ whose sole aim was to keep all canines in order! She was also the first Gunalt Weimaraner ever to be shown. Never bred from, she was the canine disciplinarian all Weimaraner puppies need and respect.
Next came BREDEBECK ILKA (left in Photo) – a born lady whose sole aim was to please and later to become SHOW CHAMPION BREDEBECK ILKA and the foundation bitch for ‘TASAIRGID’. Best of Breed at Crufts and mother of Champions, she was the epitome of gentleness. Her breeding remains in the background of our present Weimaraners.
The years went by – unfortunately all too quickly .
  • breeding a few litters now and then (Champions included)
  • showing a lot (very expensive)
  • judging dog shows (great fun)
  • visiting Weimaraners overseas (wow)
  • importing Am. Ch. Nani’s Whistle in the Wind & Am. Ch. Nani’s Class Clown ( temperament second to none)
  • judging abroad (Australia being the highlight)
  • getting caught up in Weimaraner Rescue (the sad part)
Now it’s time to reflect – YES it’s been worth it! – YES we’ve learned a lot! - YES we’d do it again!
